About the Project:

"Advent" was an interactive home evening experience that delved into the themes of Christmas and family. In a year where traditional Christmas gatherings were not possible due to the pandemic, the project sought to explore new ways of celebrating within the "small family". The project aimed to meet the high expectations of the festive season, which were even more poignant given the circumstances. Ludvig Daae and Tove Berglund created this repackaged art experience, which examined Christmas and the family under the current restrictions, with the hope of bringing a more joyful Christmas experience.

BK's Contribution:

BK Sannerud brought their expertise in sound design, music, and procedural musicto the project, enhancing the atmosphere and helping to bring the narrative to life. Similar to their work on "Julen", BK created a soundscape that was both immersive and evocative, capturing the essence of the Christmas season and the unique circumstances of the year. Through their innovative use of sound and music, BK was able to contribute to the project's goal of exploring new ways of celebrating Christmas within the constraints of the pandemic.
